| I lie among the sons of men | | | | David was tuned in to the wonders of the dawn, but |
| Who are set on fire, | | | | maybe this was his wonder and his surfers wave. |
| Whose teeth are spears and arrows, | | | | But this again was prophetic of David and his |
| And their tongue a sharp sword. | | | | influence upon the events of history right from the |
| 5 Be exalted, O God, above the heavens; | | | | dawn of history right up until these present moments |
| Let Your glory be above all the earth. | | | | in time, where the words of his songs in the psalms |
| | | | | are still among the nations and coming to us from the |
| 6 They have prepared a net for my steps; | | | | heavenly channels. |
| My soul is bowed down; | | | | |
| They have dug a pit before me; | | | | The heavenly channels are the good channels or |
| Into the midst of it they themselves | | | | channel, the station to tune into. |

| | | | | The first call is to recognize the heavenly channels in |
| 7 My heart is steadfast, O God, my heart is | | | | the first place, to understand that effects that |
| steadfast; | | | | happen out there can not be controlled for by known |
| I will sing and give praise. | | | | natural means. There are mighty angels and unseen |
| 8 Awake, my glory! | | | | forces that affect into what otherwise is first seen |
| Awake, lute and harp! | | | | as the common and then the supernatural so to |
| I will awaken the dawn. | | | | speak meets with the natural. |
| | | | | This is where the back and forth relationship of |
| 9 I will praise You, O Lord, among the peoples; | | | | prayer, such as in the case of Elijah who intervened |
| I will sing to You among the nations. | | | | for the otherwise uncontrollable realm of the |
| 10 For Your mercy reaches unto the heavens, | | | | weather, reaches into the heavens as described in |
| And Your truth unto the clouds. | | | | this psalm. |
| | | | | The experience of David, may not be parallel in its |
| 11 Be exalted, O God, above the heavens; | | | | largess but it can be the actual experience of the |
| Let Your glory be above all the earth. | | | | believer, in that someone praying now can pray |
| There are two overriding themes to this psalm. | | | | effectively for events in the far future, past the |
| The first is of heavenly interventions on earthly | | | | points of their own lifetime and past the points of |
| affairs. | | | | wherever they are situated locally and as described in |
| The second is the prophecies of David about his | | | | this psalm, especially in verse 2 the Holy Spirit can |
| own purpose and role throughout the history of | | | | perform all things including bringing about effect from |
| humanity and how his presence would be felt among | | | | the intercessions of the saints for the far future so |
| the nations and the peoples even to this era and this | | | | that a saint today can resonate into the far future |
| day. | | | | through say intercessions or in the case of David not |
| That this could happen could only be purposed | | | | only intercessions but the preservation of his words |
| through the Holy Spirit and is itself a heavenly | | | | in the psalms and his lineage as also a work of the |
| intervention upon the affairs of the earth, an | | | | Spirit. |
| intervention that has the influence and words of | | | | David was initially just a so called shepherd boy, yet |
| David alive and present to this very age so different | | | | he later if not earlier arrived at the understanding of |
| in things like the ways of technology that didn’t | | | | the reality of heaven meeting earth, that there were |
| exist in the time David walked the earth. | | | | heavenly channels that could be readily observed and |
| In the New Oxford Annotated Bible, verse 2 | | | | contemplated from the human plane. |

| David’s purpose was not limited to his own | | | | as the world spins to its own self created tunes, |

| Jesus and his words in the Bible are still standing | | | | these heavenly channels and their possible effects in |
| throughout the earth today in Scripture and in Song. | | | | our present realities. |
| When David says in verse 8 that he will awaken | | | | The call is to further contemplate and go into what |
| the dawn in song, this is a prophecy about his own | | | | the channels of heaven are doing and saying for you |
| influence, how it will extend into the dawn of every | | | | personally and to possibly understand the potential |
| new era. | | | | for a wider call such as the one experienced by |
| Heavenly interventions extend through time and even | | | | David, where there was a purposed presence of the |
| ages. When, Elijah, who was just a normal person but | | | | Holy Spirit that David, would be for eras to come and |
| called as a prophet, prayed for a weather pattern, | | | | far into the unknown future as well as within his own |
| the whole weather system of the earth was | | | | lifetime, purposed and positioned as among the |
| affected for years on end. | | | | nations and the peoples of the entire world not only |
| Elijah, could not on his own have gotten to a place | | | | then in those days but even now in these days. |
| where he by natural means could effect clouds and | | | | Just like the individual surfer cannot conjure up that |
| rain, and even today, there is nobody that can do | | | | ideal wave or set of waves on his own, it is |
| that in this space age era just as it could otherwise | | | | heaven’s invention on so many other things we |
| not have happened in the long ago era of Elijah | | | | hope to experience and even a good segment of |
| without the presence of heaven. | | | | beautiful sun in the day is heavens fortune. |
| What was involved was an intercession by one | | | | The meaning of this psalm extends from verse 2, |
| who was anointed to intercede and this was a | | | | where the Holy Spirit will perform all things, including |
| heavenly intercession performed by the Lord but | | | | bringing the influence of the prayers of the powerful |
| purposed through one individual. | | | | saints into the presence of the world beyond the |
| Heavenly intercessions are obvious in certain ways, | | | | time of their individual lives and thereby transcending |
| in that it is know that mankind can not otherwise | | | | time and space. But there is no need to do that to |
| effect certain things. | | | | have a here and now understanding that events right |
| Take for example the surfer, wishing for and | | | | before your eyes are visitations from the heavenly |
| seeking a certain wave pattern. There is no way the | | | | realm and the vision is to understand just how |
| surfer himself or herself can effect the upcoming | | | | extensive and far reaching these events can be, |
| patterns and formations of the waves, they can only | | | | even as they were for David. |
